What’s new in version 4 Beta

Smart Filter - A new real-time “Smart Filter” displays your search results in an efficient graphic display that can be best described as an inverted tree with branches. Each branch of the tree shows your search results sorted and grouped by words and phrases most frequently found in your search results and can be easily viewed by a simple click of the mouse. This quick look view provided by the "Smart Filter" makes a large number of search results manageable by its interactive design for sorting and it’s side-by-side detail view.

Faster Display of Search Results - Improved performance when receiving large number of search results.

Automated Collection of Search History - Search history is automatically saved by default.

Faster display of saved search results - When browsing from one save search results to the next, performance has been improved

Copy results to clipboard - In addition to exporting search results to XML, HTML and CSV, you can now easily copy the search results and then paste them as text into any program i.e.into e-mail or ICQ to share the results with your friends or co-workers, into MS Word to add them to your report, etc. Just select the results you want and press Ctrl+C to copy them to clipboard.

Additional Display Setting for Search Results - A simplified 3 level setting for display results. no detail (Alt+0), one line of detail (Alt+1), two lines of detail (Alt+2). Of course we still have the full complement of display settings from the previous version.

Color in Search Columns - The search results now display alternating row colors to assist in reading large amount of search results.

Automated Updates - A user selected option to automatically check for new search sources in more frequent intervals.

Amazon - Added a new Amazon category with over a dozen different sub-categories (Books, DVD, Electronics, Music, Video).

Extended and Refined Search Integration Specification - This will allow a wider range of search sources to be added to FirstStop WebSearch™
