Update options  <     ^     >  


To view/modify engine update options of FirstStop WebSearch™:
1. From the "View" menu, choose "Options...," or click the "Options" settings button on the toolbar.
2. In the "Options" dialog box, select the "Updates" tab.

You may schedule a reminder to have FirstStop WebSearch™ prompt you to check for available engine updates.

You may select the frequency of the reminder as once a week, twice a month, or once a month.
If you don't need automatic reminders, check the "Start updates manually" checkbox.

Update providers

Third party developers can provide FirstStop WebSearch™ Version 5 users with updates for their search sources by being "update providers". If users are interested in such updates, they can elect to add third party providers to their FirstStop WebSearch™ update.

The update provider will be activated during the next update only if it is checked.
