Thumbnails settings  ^

To view/modify Thumbnails settings (Visual Edition only) of FirstStop WebSearch™:
1.   From the "View" menu, choose "Options...," or click the "Options" settings button on the toolbar.
2.   In the "Options" dialog box, select the "Thumbnails" tab.

Disk space for storing thumbnails
Thumbnails are stored on your hard disk. Each time you view a new thumbnail, it is stored on the disk for future reference. One thumbnail takes up about 7Kb. You can specify the maximum amount (in megabytes) of disk space you want to use for storing thumbnails. Click the "Clear all stored images" to remove all saved thumbnails.

Thumbnail quality

Thumbnails are stored in JPEG format. This format supports image compression. Images with a higher level of compression take up less disk space, but degrade in quality. So you should find a compromise between the thumbnail file size and quality.

Simultaneous connections
FirstStop WebSearch™ establishes several simultaneous connections when retrieving thumbnails of web pages. The user may specify the number of simultaneous connections to be used.

Automatically update thumbnails on the first page - check this option if you want the thumbnails to be automatically updated once you switch to a thumbnail view.
