To view/modify Limits settings of FirstStop WebSearch™:
1. From the "View" menu, choose "Options...," or click the "Options"
2. In the "Options" dialog box, select the "Limits" tab.
Result Limits
FirstStop WebSearch™'s users have complete control over the number of results that are returned by an engine as well as the total number of results returned overall.
- Maximum results per engine - Specify the number of desired results per engine (default is set to 30)
- Maximum results per search - Specify the number of desired results per search (default is set to 500)
History Limits
- Number of searches to save in History - Specify the maximum number of recent searches to remain accessible in the History.
Discovery Tree Limits
- Number of branches in the tree - Specify the maximum number of branches that you want displayed in the Discovery Tree.
- Minimum results in top level branches - The top level branch will be included in the tree only if the corresponding keyword can be found in at least the number of results specified in this setting.
