Advanced filter rules

The advanced filter allows queries to be formed from arbitrary Boolean expressions containing the keywords AND, OR, and NOT, quoted and grouped with parentheses. Filter is case insensitive.

ford focus - finds documents that contain either ford or focus

ford or focus - the same as above
ford, focus

ford and focus - finds only documents that contain both words

ford and not focus - finds documents that contain ford and do not contain focus

"ford focus" - finds documents that have the two or more words found right next to each other. Placing quotation marks around any series of words turns them into a phrase and tells the advanced filter that you are only interested in documents that have the words in this specific order.

(ford or focus) and not "ford fiesta" - finds documents that contain either ford or focus and but do not contain the phrase "ford sierra."
